I've spent the last 20 years building the internet for New Zealand businesses. Through On.co.nz and On.Works, my team and I have designed, built and launched more than 500 websites for Kiwi businesses across virtually every sector — trades, professional services, retail, tourism, health, finance, you name it.
That means I watched the search era from the inside. Building the landing pages, tuning the conversion rates, writing content, code and schema markup to evelate rankings. I know exactly how that game was played, because I played it — at scale, for two decades.
Then AI changed the rules. So I did what I always do : Pivot and build.
I launched Cleva.Bot and have since integrated hundreds of uniquely trained chatbots and knowledge bases into New Zealand businesses. I've delivered AI strategy, execution and training inside real companies. Not from a stage, but at the desk, in the CRM, in the transcripts.
Sensai.nz is where all of that converges: the web-building heritage, the AI engineering, and the pattern I can now see that clearly shows the internet is moving from search to answers to agents. The businesses that prepare their knowledge now will be the ones who succeed.
For many businesses this pivot is not a small feat. It requires understanding the opportunity and embracing the challenge to learn and rethink your content strategy, workflows, tools and methods.
I don't intend on Sensai being a mass provider of AEO services. Rather I seek to align with a select number of clients willing to be dragged kicking and screaming into the future to prosper in an agentic AI world. If you want to be one of them please get in touch.
